Customer reviews for Bath & Body Works in Southgate Centre

 (2/5) Staff

By  on Aug 16, 2016

I like some of their products - but that's all subjective anyway. What I feel compelled to write about is the staff. As you approach they're on you right away (fine, whatever, it's a business, but I hate being pounced on like that. Lush are the worst for this - but that's another story). When I buy something the clerk goes "so did anyone tell you about our deals today?" I say "yes", she says "which one? this one? the other one?" like what is this? Do staff get berated or sacked or they wages reduced if the customer they helped didn't buy more than one item? This seems really pushy to me. Also why should customers be made to feel so bad for only buying 1 or 2 things? "So these are buy one get one thirty percent off" or whatever. That's great but I only need one right now. I do like some of their fragrances but I am reluctant to go in there sometimes.
