I booked an appointment November of last year to get my winter tires put on and the morning of the appointment when I went to the counter the attendant accused me of not having an appointment and lying. He treated me like a looser for ten minutes. Todat, May, 2021, I went there to return a bottle of weed killer with my receipt from just 3 days ago and I am told no refunds until after lockdown is over in Ontario. If this is not a way to just hold onto my money what is? There was no reason to give me a refund regardless of lockdown! This is a disgusting way of business, for such a coroperate citisizen.

My Grand-daughter had 4 tires put on her car last Thursday at the Canadian Tire store at Sunrise. She explained that her tires had only been on for six months and were no longer safe to drive. The automotive manager said he could put the tires on if they found nothing wrong in the front end that may have led to what happened. When he contacted her he said they found nothing wrong and had proceeded with the 4 new tires and a wheel alignment. When she drove the car after it was done there was a strange noise in the front end. She called the manager back and explained this to him. He was rude abrupt and blew her off. He informed her that he had no intention of looking into the noise. The car was then taken to another garage and they discovered one of the wheel bearings in the front was broken, hence the noise that wasn't there when she took it into your store. The first question is was this caused from them putting on the tires? The second question is why was the manager not interested in investigating the problem the direct result of my Grand-daughter driving an unsafe vehicle. The third question why is a man that is so rude and incompetent managing the auto department at your store? With further investigating the alignment should not have been done on a car with a broken wheel bearing. It is improper work ethics to do so. She now has had to seek further maintenance at her cost elsewhere when this should have been found and fixed before the tires were installed. Unfortunately we read the reviews after the fact. The automotive manager is an ignorant, rude, incompetent person to be in that job capacity. I would hope that on reading this you would see fit to correct this injustice. There was a day in my time when stores went out of their way to do the best job they could. So sad the world has gone backward. The customer is never right and never treated with respect. Her name is N******** and she deserves a refund for the alignment and an apology. 8:17 AM
