If I could give this place a rating of zero stars, I absolutely would. I purchased two hoop earrings and two small studs as a present for my sister and the experience was horrible! First of all, this is RAINBOW JADE which is known for selling junk jewellery as well as for having horrendous customer service. There is a reason that they've changed the name on their kiosk to "Kilo Jewels" yet their receipt and boxes are still printed as "Rainbow Jade." I vowed to never shop there again, but I had no idea they had changed names and were still lying to their consumers. I asked the associate numerous times if the jewellery was sterling silver and nickel free, to which she assured me three times that they were. I'm honestly not too sure if the studs are sterling silver because the earring backings are not engraved, but rather, they have the "925" printed on them like a roll on sticker. The associate told me that the price of the studs were $20, which is the only reason why I purchased them from there. I was originally going to buy them from "Bitter Sweet," where I purchase all of my jewellery, but since I was purchasing the hoops from here, I figured I'd get the studs here as well. BAD IDEA! My total for the two sets of earrings were supposed to total $45.60. Instead, she charged me $56.50! When I went back to let her know about the error, she was very rude and refused to refund my money. She claimed the stud earrings were $25! That is NOT what she originally told me. If she had stated they were $25, I would've purchased them from "Bitter Sweet" instead since they were almost the same price. I didn't even want the product anymore because I don't even think it's real silver and she lied about the price to get me to buy it. She claimed she couldn't refund the purchase (this was before I had even left the kiosk) because she didn't have the password nor authorization to refund purchases, yet she stated she was going to refund me the difference since she overcharged me. How is it possible for you to refund me the difference and not the whole purchase?! O_o That doesn't make any sense. She then started to try and ignore me and then pick a fight with me. The same thing happened 10 years ago when I made a complaint about a pearl ring they had sold me. The pearl had fallen out of its setting after one day, which is why I vowed never to purchase anything from this place again. It took this lying and thieving sales associate 15 minutes to refund me the difference. She was absolutely rude and lacks customer service skills. I must add that I never even received a receipt, only a copy of my debit transaction where it reads as "Rainbow Jade" with a Square One Mississauga location. If that doesn't continue to scream fraud, I don't know what does. This place is a SCAM! They are DISHONEST, RUDE, and participate in FALSE ADVERTISEMENT! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!
