Long story short: I recently went to Mat & Max (Complexe les ailes) for a coloration and I got out of the salon with the most horrible, MOST UNEVEN AND PATCHY HAIR ever! I don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone leave any salon looking like that. And like if that wasn’t enough, they wouldn’t even refund me! I paid a lot of money for a “professional coloration” and am left with a mess that I now have to fix at my own expense (while looking horrible in the meantime). Unbelievable. Full review: I recently went to Mat & Max and had the worst, most uneven hair coloration I’ve ever had. I came in with blonde hair, asked to get my roots bleached and to get a silver/gray dye. What I actually got was 2-3” patches of brown/gray/blonde on the roots, then the next 6” got stained blue and gray, and then grayish blonde for the remaining lengths! Some parts at the scalp weren’t even dyed… I tried to fade it all with multiple shampoos but it’s still incredibly uneven. The roots are now a weird yellow and then its stained turquoise where it was blue, then back to blond(ish) until the tips… I asked Mat & Max for a full refund, providing them pictures of my horrible hair, but they denied any responsibility, saying “there were factors out of their control”! As if any justifications could make any of this more acceptable. I then asked to get a free fix with another hairdresser but the only option they offered was to get another appointment with the SAME hairdresser to try to fix it…. No thanks?! Why would they do a better job now if they couldn’t do it the first time?? Or are they admitting that the first job was botched? I paid for a “professional coloration” and am left with a mess that I now have to fix at my own expense (while looking horrible in the meantime). This is truly unbelievable.

I first met Char a sunday in 2005 when I had a huge problem with my extensions, my hair was tangled and I was afraid I would have had to cut it , but patiently Char Lebreton, dot it untangled and removed my extensions, I was so happy, since then I always had beautiful cuts and colors. Char did the transition for me from red colored hair to my natural white hair. I constantly have compliments on my hair and I feel great. Thank you Char, you have become a good friend and a confident, I would recommend Char to all without a doubt.
