I asked for the flu vaccine ( nasal spray) at this location today. Was told by the pharmacist this vaccine was only available for ages 2-49 years of age. Told to check back at a later date on availability of a flu shot. Left feeling something was not right my gut told me I was being lied to. Checked with Lambton Public Health and another pharmacy. This information was not accurate. In actual fact Individuals up to 59 years of age can have the nasal spray flu vaccine. I'm not happy, as a professionals pharmacist have the facts straight. Or if you reserve the right to be selective of ages the shot is offered to at individual location's. At least Inform your customers to check some where else they may be able to be vaccinated. Telling clients during a pandemic they cant be vaccinated for the flu is just wrong. Get the facts and good customers service skills straight. Your supposed to be educated professionals serving our community.
