Items not always in stock, help hard to find. In general turns me off at times. they are pushing hard to rid cashiers

I bought a Panama( pants with long slave dated Dec.12,2020) then I’m going to returned today ( Dec.21,2020. They don’t accept because the lady manger said the one in the sticker was 2 pcs which is contrary to the one in the tag with a bar code which it says 4pcs. My question is , it’s not my fault if they have different sticker or tag because first of all I don’t have any idea those one as a customer my job is only buy that staff and the cashier scan it and I paid the item, I don’t have any that they have different information between the sticker that stick on the item and the barcode. And also why did the cashier scan that one and let me pay that item which im going to have problem in returning that item?. I did not remove those sticker and the tag seens I bought that until the day im going to return. Honestly whose fault is it a customer fault bec. She or he did not check the tag and the sticker did not match or the fault of the employee because they did not double check if they if the information that they put are right.They don’t accept my return which is so sad.( Walmart store number 1139)
