Suburban Toronto is becoming the hot spot for some good shopping! Off-price division of Nordstrom called Nordstrom Rack has been launched at Vaughan Mills. This specific outlet was initially supposed to open it’s first stores all over Canada in 2015, but the company took a break and delayed it by about three years. Up to 15 Nordstrom Rack stores will welcome shoppers in the next future, according to the brand management announcement.

You will be able to find the Vaughan Mills Nordstrom Rack across from a Nike Factory Store at the east end of the outlet centre and head to the, best ever, deals among the fashion items, shoes and accessories – all between 30% and 70% off regular prices! All the products will be around 30% of full product line from Nordstrom stores. About  15% of the full product line in it’s US locations will be offered to American buyers. Total of 38 out of 50 top brands carried in Nordstrom's full-line Canadian stores will be included, as well.

Downtown crowds will be happy to know that another store of the brand is coming to their neighbourhood too, on May 3rd of this year. Nordstrom Rack’s first location in the centre of Toronto will open at the southeast corner of Yonge Street and Bloor Street East in upscale and rapidly changing  Bloor-Yorkville area. Management is optimistic about the sales figures in the future, having in mind this specific division will be set at the corner of one of the most important intersections in Canada.

The 38,545 square foot two-level Nordstrom Rack store will include 8,870 square feet on the ground floor that will occupy the corner space of a retail podium, now owned by First Capital Realty, with an additional 29,675 square feet of space on the second level.

More than ever, people of Canada are visiting off-price retailers and there are more and more stores like this every year. Nordstrom has said that it plans to operate between 12 and 15 Nordstrom Rack stores in Canada in the near future, based on obvious growth of this kind of sales. Nordstrom has also confirmed that three out of 15 Canadian locations will be opened in the fall of 2018, with dates to be revealed at the time. All three locations will be approximately 35,000 square feet, according to the company’s official announcement and will include stores at The Ottawa Train Yards in Ottawa, at South Edmonton Common in Edmonton and at Heartland Town Centre in Mississauga.

Nordstrom Rack’s second Canadian store will open on April 26 in Calgary at Deerfoot Meadows and construction on the 30,600 square foot space is nearly complete.
