I went to the North Bay Bul Barn on Mckeown to pick up some whole pod spices. Being new to the Bulk Barn experience I was having trouble finding what I wanted. I asked a staff member where to find the item I was looking for and the older woman with white hair was really snippy. She quickly quipped out some direction to walk in but couldn't be bothered to show me where to find the item. I left empty handed. I'm not even sure if it was even there or not because I still couldn't find it. I don't think she likes customers asking stupid questions. I won't be going back there. Terrible service and rude.

Despite wearing a mask & using hand sanitizer at the door upon entering the store I was singled out & humiliated in front of 10 other customers. I will never shop there again. I was wearing PE treatment gloves because the sanitizer burns my hands. I use the sanitizer over my gloves instead. There is no difference between sanitized hands or sanitized rubber gloves. Every other store in town finds it acceptable. The woman gave me an ultimatum, take off the gloves or leave. I decided to leave the items in my cart behind and leave the store. Besides half of what I went there for in the first place wasn't available. The shelves were bare, especially the seasonal items like Christmas gel food coloring in red and green, and no gingerbread anything, no spice mix. And every time I go there to get sprinklers most of the advertised colours (bins) are empty. I don't know why I even bother. Well it won't happen again. I don't need to be treated like I have a disease by some store Karen.
