I'm genuinely shocked at my experience here this afternoon. I've never had such a bad experience in my 40 years of life. It was my daughter's birthday so I saw a Groupon for popcorn and cotton candy. I purchased it and brought them to Crossirons. The popcorn was fine but the bag of cotton candy had what appeared to be grass and a piece of hair in it. We did not eat it yet so I went back to ask for the bag to be exchanged. The lady (I assume may be the owner) refused and yelled at me that this is how cotton candy is like. I don't think hair qualifies as an attribute to cotton candy. Likewise, I have consumed cotton candy on numerous occasions in life and never had what appeared like grass or a stray hair in it. After trying to explain that this is not normal she still refused to exchange the bag and I was still being yelled at. My husband was astonished that they refused to exchange so he went to talk to her. She also refused and he asked to show the other two employees who worked there if they could come and verify. The lady refused to have them look and proceeded to open the bag and sort through the cotton candy (how gross) and in the process purposely dropped the piece that had the hair on it and then showed my husband the bag and said it had no hair.
