Calgary Shopping Paradise – Core Shopping Center

Probably the favourite place of locals for shopping and the location number one for all the travelers who visit Calgary is the Core Shopping Center. This dominant shopping complex located in Alberta, Canada spans three city blocks and contains more than 160 retailers on four huge levels.

Four major office towers and the historic Lancaster Building are part of the mall too. Where there is the famous center today, once was, not so big, department store called The T. Eaton Co. opened in 1929. In 1990, Eaton's store was relocated into a new building one block west and a four-level shopping center, the Calgary Eaton Center, was built on its original site. Later on, with some modifications and expansion the combination of two centers resulted in the property being rebranded The Core.

Every single day, it hosts few thousand visitors and there is always something interesting going on here. Check out some of the latest events and promotions you shouldn’t miss.
