Safeway in Canada - Locations, Hours, Flyers

Although I live in Edmonton, I love shopping at the Safeway in the Sherwood Park Mall. The management and staff have always been helpful and friendly. My issue is really with the customers or shoppers. Today there were no less than 6 or 7 shoppers without masks. I understand the bylaw in Sherwood Park is very ambiguous, but I thought intelligent, caring people would be considerate and wear a mask. I noted that a few of these non-mask wearers also did not follow the arrows placed in the aisles. It is a shame that those of us who wear masks (to protect everyone) are the ones who have to find another place to shop. I will miss this Safeway.

First I would like to say ,I shop at Safeway weekly..because of my failing Health...I sometimes require assistance. On Friday I picked out a big bouquet of flowers for myself...which I find cheers me immensly in these " Covid " Times...I usually buy them and pay directly at The Kiosk...There was no attendant there, so I asked a young person to wrap paper around the bottom of the $20.00 bunch...I wanted them to have their stems be protected and stay moist while i shopped for groceries...The stems were wrapped and the top left completely visable so you could easily scan the product...After waiting in line to pay..a Female employee ANGRILY approached me asking me who had done that for me ?? OMG!! I said I am not telling you..A scene then ensued at the checkout with this woman being a real witch to me...all I could think of was, " Good Customer Service" and someone going out of their way to help me...Shame on her for yelling at a Disabled partially blind old lady !!! I will avoid her for sure when I go to the store from now on....Not Nice!!!
