Margaret’s review is unrealistic and uneducated. I would bet she hasn’t worked in customer service, let alone with customers period. If you go around Christmas time, it’s fucking busy, like anywhere, so staff are naturally more uptight. Be more specific about your requests next time when talking to someone who’s working between hundreds of impatient, crazed customers. I’m sure no harm was meant by your little sticker fiasco. Most places charge for bags as well, so asking would be the right thing to do, yes. Associates are most likely more concerned about keeping the customers from getting unruly on expensive furniture than if enough stickers were given out. Pottery Barn is undoubtedly a comfortable, contemporary, peaceful place to shop and browse because of its layout, style, and atmosphere. The staff working in Pottery Barn are friendly and educated, and will go out of their way for your business. I give them top marks for being on brand and in style to continue making Pottery Barn a reliable and affordable place to shop.

The staff were rude! After I paid, the lady just handed me my stuff without putting them in a bag, I even had to ask to give me one. When she told me that there was an hour wait to gift wrap, I asked if she can just give me the boxes and wrapper and I'll just wrap them myself at home, so the other lady went to get those for me but looked like she didn't want to do that. Also, the wrapper was useless as it wasn't big enough to wrap the box. Oh, I even had to ask for the "Pottery Barn sticker", she gave me one when she knows I needed two. If there was a "0" in this rating, I would give this store that. Worst customer service!
