My husband has purchased jewelry from this store since it came into Georgetown. Found that the jewelry breaks and People's doesn't stand by fixing the jewelry on their cost. So, my husband purchases the life long warranty for my Xmas gift, in which has a extra cost of $100.00 on top of jewelry cost, less than a month chain breaks and the pendant is lost. The warrenty gave us no help. Manager at the store did not know the warranty at all and stated the chains that come with the pendant are more for show. Manager at the stores understanding was totally different than the district manager. When speaking to the district manager she did offer to fix the chain which was not given back to us plus both made me feel like I did this on purpose. Talking its many people about this situation pointed out that other jewelry stores with good prices charge no extra warranty and if a problem fix it. So we will breaking our business to European jewelry, fire and ice, kavar to name a few. I would never recommend a People's jewelry store!!! Please note I did not put those stars in, I would not give it any stars!
