The retailer - Country Grocer - opened its doors in December 1984 in Nanaimo, British Columbia, Canada. Country Grocer wants to offer the best in meats, seafood and fresh produce. Because of the big success of the first store, Country Grocer opened the second store in 1986. The location of the second store is in Esquimalt Shopping Centre in Victoria, BC. After that step by step have been opening other stores so in total Country Grocer has 7 stores. All stores are located in British Columbia, Canada. The newest Country Grocer’s store is the first pharmacy, which was opened in 2019 in Salt Spring.
