I came to pro nails a couple times. They seem to do a pretty decent job. But when I got my nails done without feeling anything maybe a week later my nail broke (and no I wasn’t doing anything strenuous) so I went back and she reapplied it no problem. At this point I was in need of new bails within a week or 2 (my nails grow really fast) instead of a new set with a new nail for my broken one , she just filed it and went over top and treated it as a normal fill. Well guess what, after a few days of having festive nails I was changing and again I hear a sound but feel nothing. Oh look, the same nail has popped off once again. Being a cosmetologist myself, she should have known and gone the extra step to replace even just that one nail from it being previously compromised but instead , did the opposite and evaded the crack like it never existed. Not to mention struggle with the design when I previously asked if she felt comfortable or if it would be too difficult for her she said it was good. Then redid them about 2/3 times before she thought it was passable. I’m not one to really ever say anything but to make up for my one design she added extra stuff on my nails decoration wise to cost me more money. Which 1 I never asked for and 2 if you’re gonna add stuff ontop at least ask first to see if the person could afford it. With these trying times during covid not everyone can. I obviously did and still tipped her , kinda wish I didn’t but I definitely feel I paid for a lot more than what I actually received. I guess to have my nails lol ripely done I’ll have to go across the city to Luxury Nails on Springbank. Where I’ve gone since grade 8 and never had an issue. Great people great prices just across the city and I don’t drive. Save your time and money. Make the trip.
