When I moved to this area 7 years ago, I noted that the only nearby grocery store was the Giant Tiger which meant driving to where I usually shopped. I'd never shopped at Giant Tiger but one day I was in a hurry for a needed grocery item so I stopped in to see if the store had this item. I was very pleasantly surprised. Not only did this store have the item I needed but it had most everything else on my weekly grocery list. Since then I've continued to shop at store #39. I have watched as the variety of available products has continued to increase to where there is now a fresh meat section with a good selection from which to choose at reasonable prices. This store has good weekly sales, rarely runs out of supplies & has a friendly, helpful staff. I also find their clothing department stocks a very good selection of well made clothes especially in the plus sizes. During the CoVid-19 pandemic, this store has been very proactively adhering to the required safety protocols for staff and customers. I feel safe when I shop at this store. Although I still occasionally shop at other grocery stores, I do the majority of my grocery, household, pet supplies and clothing shopping at Giant Tiger store #39. I highly recommend this store.
