I recieved an email saying my order is ready and to proceed to the collection point asap and if I didnt go within 7 days they would ship my stuff back to IKEA. I borrowed a truck and drove straight over. I arrived with my ID and the email and order number. The staff member asked if I received a call from IKEA telling me to come... I said no, I got an email. He was rude and repeated BUT DID THEY CALL YOU!? I said no, and read him the bold part of the email which stated in no uncertain terms that I was to go to the depot. I asked him how I was supposed to know to wait for a call. The staff member acted annoyed with me and told me this has been going on a long time, it's not thier fault and that about 50 other people have arrived just I did following the instructions of the email. 50 people!? IKEA... get it together and quit wasting people's time! Change that automated email so people know they're supposed to wait for a call.
