An elderly lady had just entered the No-Frills store on Como LK Ave in COQ this afternoon behind me without a mask. "LUKE" approached her about it - she said she was sorry but her husband had just gone back to the car to get it. He offered her one, but she said she'd wait for her husband. He asked her to wait for him right there rather than starting to shop - which she complied with. Pretty soon she had her mask on and they had a 2-3 min pleasant conversation with Luke. Now I mention that this was an Oriental lady only to point out that in light of all the anti-Asian hate, it was such a welcome sight to see how nicely, politely and professionally Luke handled the situation. He made the customer feel so special (as a human being) and valued (as a customer). I couldn't help but compliment him and ask his name. Luke - thank you for treating a fellow human being like we're supposed to, and for "making my day"! God bless you ALWAYS!
