***(3/5) Be prepared before you go
You need to do some research before you go. Know what you're looking for (a list helps), research average pricing on Discogs, and INSPECT vinyl and cover before you purchase. Closely. Know your vinyl gradings... there actually are fair deals if you're careful, or you can also make a horrible mistake. Be prepared to walk away, and if you think something's overpriced, make an honest offer. If he says no, again, just leave. Follow your gut instinct.
*(1/5) Never again
I reiterate what everyone else stated in their previous reviews. He is "not interested in people digging through his crates and wasting his time looking for collectibles". Buddy, you're in the wrong business. His precious records that he did show me are completely overpriced AND of absolute subpar quality. Do not waste YOUR time here. If you’re new to collecting records, stay as far away from this guy as possible.
*(1/5) Weak Selection
He carries some new records, as well as some vintage. If you do go, bring a wishlist as the crates are packed too tightly to dig (and it doesn't seem like he wants people to dig). Records are on the pricier side but i've seen worse. Also, he has weak knowledge of records and spews false information to make a sale. Not great for serious collectors.
*(1/5) Not what I was hoping for... totally disappointed!
He literally told me he had the greatest vinyl collection in all of Ontario right there in the booth, but I had to know exactly what I wanted since no one is allowed to pick through his crates. I rang off a couple bands and was met with a quick "No, because nobody asks for them and I don't carry "indie" bands". He was super condescending and basically gave me the impression that the only people that matter to him are his regular clientele. D-Bag!
*(1/5) Disappointed
I visited this booth today and was very disappointed in the way I was treated the man running it treated us like we were idiots and like he was gods gift to vinyl records in reality he didn't know nearly as much as he thought he did if your looking for good vintage records do waste your time with this fool
