I have walked by on my own pass this store in the Pickering Mall and thought they always had nice dresses, so when the time came for my 17 year Old sister to start her search for a prom dress I thought this would a great place to look. Today along with myself, my sister and my best friend, went into this store looking for a dress. The employee who greeted us was being very pushy as to what we wanted and would not allow my sister to look at the styles she wanted. Once my sister found a beautiful dress she loved, the same women came up and told my sister “your not going to fit into that” and demanded my sister who is a size xs or s in some stores try on a XL. I understand dresses are different but that was too big for her. My sister was nervous trying on dresses to start and to have the sales women insult her body size was horrible. Only after this was another customer trying on a dress and the sales women was complimenting her but not a 17 year old young girl. Well my sister was trying on dresses my best friend told her the story of when her own prom dress zipper broke right before prom and to this the sales women was eavesdropping and said to my friend “your dress was too small for you” in a rude ton of voice. We left the store after this. This is not how a dress store should treat their young customers at all. If I could give this place a 0 I would.

A few weeks back, I was in the store. I had never been in this store mind you, so if the rules are you either buy something or get out, then I did not know that. The woman in there asked me if she could help me, yknow stuff a employee would say and that was fine and peachy-- But then I told the woman that I was only in there with the intent of browsing. The woman then pushed me to clarify what I am browsing for. I simply told her that I am just browsing and nothing more. She got nasty with me and was following me in the store. I know that she was because she was the only employee currently in that store and there were only two other customers besides me. I did NOT like her attitude. I understand that perhaps the store is meant to just be for formals and fancy events, but that doesn't mean she needs to get an attitude about it. I would've been okay if she had just said: "Ma'am, this store is for specific matters," but the woman did not. She just got nasty with me and acted pushy and rude.
