I saw an ad for BBB’s private label “Bee & Willow” Prescott pattern. However, I placed 3 separate orders online and had to return broken or defective pieces in 2 visits to the store (This was easier than parcelling up returns and delivering them to a FedEx depot). BBB’s systems are totally unable to clearly transact returns. For a THIRD visit, I was disputing my credit card charges which were UNreconcilable with my records. It took 2.5 hr for the store staff to try to find the error; I was told I would have to go to another store in Richmond Hill (because an online order was shipped from there?), or to call the 1-800 #, because they couldn’t find the error, the CUSTOMER would be responsible for the difference! On my way out of the store, I asked to speak to the manager, Laura (again). Nadine said Laura had left for the day but was sure she could figure it out. Nadine takes customer service to heart. She painstakingly combed through all of my receipts and found THEIR error and refunded my money. If I owned or managed a store, I would put Nadine in charge. She takes customer satisfaction personally and provides an acceptable response to her customers. Until then, all I was offered were 2 “20% off your next purchase” coupons. At that point, I wasn’t sure I would ever shop at BBB again! ... 3 trips, defective goods, poor accounting, go to a store further away that you have never been too, spend more I my valuable time with 1-800 # reconciling their mistake, wait hours for resolution, no acknowledgement of 3 separate trips to store...
