You get what you pay for, quality products that last a long time. You cannot compare high quality products to cheaper brands. Bowring carries high quality crystal and home decor. You cannot expect the look of luxury for dollar store prices.

I did a lot of shopping at Bowrings in BC. Loved the store, the quality of their products were great and I loved the Christmas items and sales they would have. Miss not being able to go there any longer!

My husband and I shop at Bowring and I mean we shop, WE KNOW the prices! . It s pretty upsetting to see how from one week to the next , the prices go up!!! instead of going down and we are told, is 20% off??? … I would not be surprise if they re open again, and again, it s like a game , same with the prices , it s all a game . Not impress at all! DO NOT TREAT CUSTOMER LIKE THEY DO NOT KNOW ANYTHING! WE KNOW PRICES!!! GOOD LUCK!!!

I shopped at Bowrings for years in Guelph until they closed. I got a candle holder -- a wrought iron stand with five glass receptacles to hold pillars last year and I have enjoyed it only a few times when it was appropriate. Last week, ON MY BUFFET AMONGST THE DISHES THAT WERE TO HOLD THE FOOD FOR SERVICE, one of these receptacles simply "blew". The candles were from Ikea -- there was a metal wick holder in each one -- this shouldn't have happened. Had the meal been served, everything would have had to be thrown away (I was feeding 6 people so it would have been costly. Had anyone been serving himself or herself when the glass shattered, they might have been injured. I know I got the item on sale but thought you should know about this potential hazard to warn other purchasers. I have always been pleased with my Bowring purchases until now so I won't give you a poor satisfaction rating. I was disappointed when the Guelph store closed. But I feel badly used in this instance as the entire candle holder has been rendered useless.
