dialed the tool rental from my cell and watched everybody walk by the phone one guy picked it up and hung up without speaking in to it ?

I received notice my order was ready yesterday so I went to the store and registered at my designated spot. Some 20 minutes later (not a bad wait) and associate came out and told me they didn't have my order. No explanation just walked away. Assuming they had made a error of picking the order I left as there are no other options. I checked the status today only to find out they had marked it as picked up. Try calling the store that is a joke, online chat is computerized and they advise it is a 5 hour wait time. Text no response. So I am out $165.00 and given no recourse due to COVID. I can't go to the store so I have no way of following up. Home Depot is notorious for online/phone support at the best of times but this is ridiculous. They make a mistake and I pay for it.
