I was very disappointed that Harveys chose to close their stores in B.C., there goes an icon from when I was a kid living in vancouver--if my memory is correct, me and my friends could stop in at their Kingsway location and pick up 19 cent burgers-- we were on our teens at the time, about 50 years ago-- seems like everything changes--whatever happened to the horse-drawn milk wagons?

Disappointing change. We always enjoyed Harvey’s fries. Chose Harveys knowing we could count on the fries being unsalted and could salt to taste ourselves. Not anymore. Today in our takeout order the fries were disgustingly smothered in salt….. unedible. We called the store and we were informed that the policy changed earlier this week and were told ‘there are signs all over the place’. Thanks but no thanks…we won’t be back. Take note folks!
