My wife & I purchased 2 outdoor waterproof bluetooth speakers from the Hillcrest store approximately 2 weeks ago. We put them in the garden and started listening to them, everything was good until the 1ST rainfall. When we tried to use them after the rain, one of the speakers stopped working, when i picked it up, it was full of water. My wife went to the store today, to exchange the speaker but unfortunately i had misplaced the reciept but i was able to secure the original transaction number. When my wife explained this to the sales associate, he refused to exchange the speaker. I spoke with the salesperson Alex myself and he basically refused me as well. I myself have been in the customer service industry for over 45 years and have to say, this salesrperson Alex, who would not give us his full name or employess number should not be dealing with the public. We are aware that these speakers are not expensive but it is the way this salesman dealt with my wife and I that is frustrating.
