Bought in Dartmouth NS. Worked once. Customer Service stated I had to return to store for refund/exchange, a 500 km return trip for me. Not going to happen- gas alone$ Small appliance repairman said electro-magnet power supply bad solder joints. Not happy with Stokes policy for a 40 - 50$ item.

I ordered 4 placemats on line. I was charged instantly from my account. When they were shipped I was charged again, and a 3rd time a week later. I tried to call but they are closed due to covid and I've emailed 3 times with no one Contacting me. This was a $30 dollar order I was charged $90 for! I will never ever order from them again. Beware!

The store was just too small. Every time I went in there it was like walking on pins & needles. You were afraid to knock some thing over. Have bought a number of items there over the years. Rather pricey, but we always watched for sales. Why pay full price?

On June 22nd, I ordered 4 sets of the Stretch Silicone lids and 3 other items. Two of the items were received on July 9th. I did not receive the silicone lids or the mason jar. I emailed Stokes on July 13, July 20, and July 27. I also phoned them on July 19 and 25. When calling, you are not given the option of waiting for a representative and must leave a voice mail message (which is what I did). As of today, I have not received a reply. Given my difficulty in obtaining any customer service, I will not buy from this company again.

I ordered a few items online and when I wasn’t shipped one of the items I had ordered and another of the items was chipped. I tried to call the customer service line- it sent me to a voicemail that said it was full (therefore I could not leave a message). I then sent an email detailing the issues with my order. It has been about a month and I still have not received a response. I tried calling again and this time I was able to leave a message. I am not holding my breath in getting a return call. Be wary about ordering anything online from this company- they will steal your money!
