We have dealt with the Emerald Plaza location several times now and every time, we receive excellent and knowledgeable service. Brendan Donohue went above and beyond to listen to our wish list, show us options, and helped stay within our budget. I wanted a quiet dishwasher and the one we purchased (Bosch) is nearly inaudible when operating - beautiful. If you want an honest salesperson, see Brendan.

Buyer beware! We purchased a washer and dryer with installation from Canadian Appliance Source on Merivale Road in Ottawa. We had not moved the machines since they were installed. We recently had some warranty maintenance done on the washer and the technicial (from an LG accredited company) was horrified to discove CAS installed our dryer with cinched flex hose. Now we are being given the run around by their delivery service and customer care. I would not purchase from them again. We have lodged a complaint with the BBB.

Excuse for a moment while I fulfill a promise that I made to my appliance salesman. Apparently ordering appliances in August for January delivery is not soon enough when you purchase from Canadian Appliance Source Ottawa But if you feel like taking your chances, at the very least, stay away from salesman Brendan Donohue. He’ll fill you full of crap excuses. And when the shit really hits the fan he scampers away like the tiny weasel he is and suggests that I take it up with customer service. Customer service is nothing more than a psychology department - the aren’t allowed to do anything other than try to talk you down from your frustration. They will then send you to the resolution department. But get this...the resolution department only deals with problems AFTER delivery. The resolution department says that I have to deal with my salesman for any pre-delivery concerns. So around and around the merry go round we go. What a circus.

I was looking for a washer/dryer and a fridge. I called and I reached Som and he help me with my purchase, but what really impressed me was that I had some serious concerns later in the day about the power supply for the washer / dryer and I tried calling but it was after hours and I left a message on Som’s voicemail and he called me back the following morning. He went out of his way to check the floor model of the washer/dryer I had ordered to make sure that my concerns were not warranted. NOW that’s what I call excellent service! I bet you wouldn’t get that type of service at some big box stores! Excellent and I highly recommend this store!
