Save On Foods in Canada - Locations, Hours, Flyers

I am a sixty three year old disabled woman. I walk using an upright Walker. From my home to Save On Foods is probably five blocks. However, being disabled it feels like twenty. Now heres what happened! I walked to Save On Foods to pick up some compostable garbage bags. Leaving with my goal of a little exercise and pick up my garbage bags. Got to the store, walked in, went around and found my garbage bags and went to the till. When the cashier asked for the funds I went to my pocket to pull out my wallet and low and behold, I did not have it on me! I searched and researched all my pockets and the walket. No wallet! I then asked if I could phone in my card number when I get home? I was blatantly turned down! So i left the store crying like a baby! Finally got home and phoned the store back, asked to speak to the manager, got him. Told him what had happened and asked if he would, due to my disability, deliver my products and i will pay cash when they get here. I was blatantly told no! "We do not deliver unless the order is over $100. I said but just due to the fact of being disabled could they make an exemption this one time! Was again told no! Now just out of curiosity, WHERE IN THE HELL IS CUSTOMER SATISFACTION in this case! My store was Save On Foods 6720 - 52 Ave Red Deer, Alberta Now you tell me, do you think this was the humane thing to do!!! Valerie MacKenzie

I was looking around in an aisle and a female worker asked if I needed help. I told her that I was looking for cranberry spread. My husband had said it was in the pop aisle. It wasn’t. She suggested the fruit aisle. I checked but didn’t see it. I then went to get a water and went to the check out, as I was waiting to pay, Wes a manager and the female worker cam up with the cranberry spread. Over and above customer service.
