Co-op is a member of a group which is called - Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL). FCL cooperates and supports other co-operatives in Western Canada. FCL is a wholesale, marketing and administrative manufacturer. There are more than 160 independent local co-operatives which are offering grocery stores, agro centers and home centers.

History of Co-op

Everything started in Manitoba and Saskatchewan in 1928. There were established provincial co-operative wholesales which provided their members easier access to goods.    
So step by step they have been expanding this type of cooperation in these three departments of business: Food, Agro and Home. 

Co-Op store Locations

Nowadays you can find Co-op stores is British Columbia, Alberta, Manitoba, Ontario and Saskatchewan. There are over 1100 stores. 

Food Co-op:
On the website you can find the current weekly flyer which is divided into these sections: meats, fish, farm fresh produce, farm deli, floral, dairy, bakery, goods from the freezer, pantry, pet items, drinks and snacks, health, beauty, baby and pharmacy. 

You can make a wish list directly from the newsletter and then only save or print it.  You will save time during shopping in your favourite store. 
On the website there are inspirations for recipes and other news. 

Home Co-op:
You will find here all necessary products or items which you need for your comfy home and house area - such as gardening, building, tools, decorations, electronics, things for cleaning, stocking, lighting, home flowers and more. You can make a wish list directly from the newsletter and then only save or print it.  You will save time during shopping in your favourite store. Inspirations for building or furnishing your home/house you will find on the website as well.  

Agro Co-op:
Everything you need regarding the agro department you will find in this section. There are ideas, help and offering new items which will help you with all the wide areas like agro is. There are these main points:

GROW, FEED, FUEL, EQUIP, BUILD

Agro Co-op publishes regularly Agro catalog and Agro Advisor.
